Visit to Leica Camera AG: DSAG SAP CCO topic group

On October 1, 2025, our Managing Director Stephan Kaup was a guest at the DSAG topic group SAP Customer Checkout on behalf of Consult-SK GmbH. The host this time was the Leica Camera AG in Wetzlar, which provided an unforgettable setting with its special location and exciting insights.

The agenda promised a varied mix of best practices, customer experiences and SAP insights: from the global transformation at Leica to the test automation of SAP CCO to examples such as the switch to S/4HANA at FC Bayern and exciting topics relating to Tap to Pay on Android devices or the question "How many plugins do you actually need?". Answers to this question were provided by Christian Pillat (Head of IT Operations) and Frank van Rooyen (Head of Store Management) from the Detlev Louis Motorrad-Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH.

Between the presentations, the networking breaks offered plenty of opportunity for exchange and new contacts - an important aspect of such community meetings, which is also particularly important to us.

Why we were there

Participation was an obvious choice for us: SAP Customer Checkout and our own products Receipt4S® as well as POS Comply complement each other perfectly. It is precisely this interaction that creates solutions that not only make retail and catering legally compliant, but also future-proof.

It was a brilliant, entertaining and excellently organized event. The open atmosphere in particular facilitated exciting discussions, which will certainly lead to future collaborations. A big thank you to Leica Camera AG and DSAG for this successful day!

The event showed that SAP Customer Checkout is constantly evolving – and with our products Receipt4S® and POS Comply Let's supplement the ecosystem with important building blocks for compliance and data security. Together, this creates a foundation that makes companies fit for checkout requirements today and tomorrow.
