2020. Phew... Definitely a year we will all remember! Aside from the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic, many wonderful and exciting things happened at CSK this year. Time for a year in review.
Two things are definitely at the top of our internal hit list of positive events: We have a new member and a new home for our small business family. We have remained loyal to Gallien, aka Minden in East Westphalia, because we are only two kilometers from Marienstr. to the Simeonsplatz 2 drawn.
But our new location did not only mean a new postal address. Instead of being spread over two floors, as in Marienstr., we now all sit together on one floor and partly on an open space in the "penthouse" of the new building at the Prussian Museum. This gave us a great view from the roof terrace, but above all everyone gets to see much more of what's going on in the company and exchanges ideas with colleagues more often.
Oh yes, there was also the increase. There was growth in several respects. On the one hand, we welcomed a student in dual training with us in October: Merna Nassif. On the other hand, the development team was provided with Olga Becker enriched. This also increased the quota of women again, which is always a good idea (personal note from the author ;)).
Among the colleagues in 2020 there were also new fathers and those who are now with Junior No. 2. In this context, it became all the more clear how sensible it was for every employee to be equipped with everything they need to continue their work at home. That's where flexible time management was needed with babies and home schooling. But agile is our thing.
New products fresh off the production line: SplitUpDebit, eBilling4S and POS data management in lite version
Bezogen auf unser Software-Portfolio war ebenfalls einiges los. Unsere bewährte Lösung für das KassenSichV-konforme Management von Cash register data „Receipt4S“ wurde weiterentwickelt und hat nun für SAP-interne Transaktionen direkt eine Technische Sicherheitseinrichtung (TSE) an Bord. Im Verlauf des Jahres wurde immer deutlicher, dass auch branchenspezifische Abwandlungen von Receipt4S® benötigt werden, So haben wir festgestellt, dass auch Bargeschäfte an der Waage bei Entsorgern revisionssicher abgewickelt werden müssen und haben dafür eine Lite-Version unseres AddOns entwickelt. Als Cocktail-Kirsche auf dem Weiterentwicklungs-Eisbecher haben wir die Optik des Ganzen noch mit einer Fiori interface prettied up.
In addition to POS data, we have remained true to our hobbyhorse. For the optimization and automation of the PurchaseToPay and OrderToCash process chains, we also reached into the code box of tricks. With eBilling4S is an SAP solution for sending invoices that does not require the SAP message control module. This means that our customers no longer have to take a detour via their e-mail program to send invoices, but can do so directly from FI/CO.
Last but never least, the CSK also has a SplitUpDebit a special software treat for franchisers and managers of large properties. These often receive total invoices for things like IT infrastructure, advertising materials or operating costs, which then have to be split between many cost centers/company codes. SplitUpDebit reduces the manual effort for further invoicing at this point.
