SAP Note: Cash Register Security Ordinance (KassenSichV) and scales

You are here:

Waste disposal companies are facing a problem that has so far been lost in the discussion about the KassenSichV: cash sales at the scales are also subject to TSE! SAP has now issued a note on what technical changes are required as a result.

Typically, the SAP cash journal is used for cash sales at the scale. After delivery, this core module of FI (component FI-BL-PT-CJ) records the invoice amounts as a posting and creates the corresponding debit memo request and billing document depending on the Customizing.

Following clarification of the legal requirements by the Karlsruhe Regional Finance Office, the following technical changes are required from the SAP perspective.

The cash payment dialog is deactivated in the standard system if the country at the address of the functional location of the disposal facility used in the weighing process = 'DE'.
An error message appears with reference to this SAP note.

If the cash sales dialog is to be reactivated at the scale, the procurement and integration of a technical security device (TSE) must be carried out. The integration of this TSE is not part of the standard delivery.

Regarding the SAP Customer Checkout solution for the cash book, please refer to KBA 2831577.

We support disposal companies with regard to the implementation of the KassenSichV and offer our cash register data AddOn Receipt4S® especially for cash sales at the scale in a lite version! Come with questions about it gladly on our managing director Stephan Kaup to: +49 571 78343510.
