On April 27, 2023, a Girls Day took place at our company for the first time. Schoolgirls from Minden and the surrounding area got a taste of everyday working life at an SAP process consulting company.
Aim of the Girls DayThe aim of the Girls' Action Day is to familiarize schoolgirls with occupations that are traditionally male. This also includes professions in the field of business informatics. In 2023, we organized a taster day in this form for six female participants for the first time under the title "Business informatics - we're doing away with clichés".
This group size has proven to be a real advantage for the joint exchange. Advantageously, women are represented in every division of our company who were able to report on their entry into a STEM profession and their field of activity with us:
- Céline Short explained vividly the advantages of the Document Hub and what the issue of invoice validation is all about
- Olga Becker begründete, warum Informatik kreative Seiten hat – z.B. wenn es darum geht, eine SAP Fiori Oberfläche zu konzipieren
- Merna Nassif took the students on their own journey to finding a career and reported from her dual study program
- Crina Betivu, as the youngest member of the CSK herd and still a student herself, reported on her part-time job with us
We were very happy about the participants and were surprised ourselves how difficult it is sometimes to explain one's own activity in a simple way :D. Maybe we will see one or the other participant again.
