Two of our team members set off to take part in the Steampunk BTP Summit on February 28 and 29, 2024. This is not only an event with a cool name, but also the place where everything revolves around the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). We are excited to see what new insights they will bring with them.
For those of you who are wondering what this is all about: The Summit is a mixture of conference and meeting place for people who want to make a difference in the SAP world. It's about picking up new ideas, exchanging ideas with other bright minds and, of course, further developing our skills. And that's exactly why Tobias Többens (Head of Development) and Daniel Airich (Consultant & Developer) are there.
Now comes the highlight: as a newly baked SAP Service Partner Consult-SK GmbH really has something to offer. This partnership is an important cornerstone for us because it links us even more closely with SAP. This link gives us access to more resources, training and support, which only benefits us and our customers. In short, we are now even better positioned to handle cool projects and make digital dreams come true.
But not every SAP Service Partner is the same. There are different levels, and we have only just cleared the first hurdle. This means that we are constantly learning, expanding our expertise and working on gaining even more authorizations.
"Our participation in the Steampunk BTP Summit in Heidelberg was worthwhile for us. Dr. Wolfram Jost (Managing Director Scheer Holding and CTO) provided us with a comprehensive overview of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and placed its current and future relevance for companies in a broader context. This made it easier to better understand the strategic importance of the BTP for our projects and the digital transformation of our customers.
The presentations by Christian Knell (Managing Partner Snap Consulting) and Sascha Göpfert (Senior Manager SAP BTP Application Development at valantic) were also informative, as they demonstrated concrete use cases within BTP. Christian Knell presented the A~QU~A project at Agrana, an example of the use of Cloud Application Programming (CAP) modeling, while Sascha Göpfert presented a RESTful Application Programming (RAP) application used in practice at Fraport. These insights into real projects gave us valuable learning opportunities to achieve similar successes in our own projects.
The subsequent direct exchange with both speakers and other experts was inspiring. We had the opportunity to have in-depth discussions about technologies, opportunities and innovative ideas in the cloud sector."
The trip to the Steampunk BTP Summit is not just a trip to the beautiful city of Heidelberg. It's part of our mission to always stay up to date, improve our skills and ensure that we can offer our customers the most innovative solutions. Stay tuned, because it will be exciting to see what they will do with all this new knowledge.
