Retailers have until March 31, 2021, to comply with the requirements of the Cash Register Security Ordinance (KassenSichV) otherwise sanctions may be imposed! Already by the end of September 2020, the tax authorities expect at least retailers to initiate initial measures to upgrade electronic cash register systems and to be equipped with a TSE to make it tamper-proof.
