Retailers have until September 2020 to upgrade their POS systems in accordance with KassenSichV. SAP® customers can now benefit from a new solution: A cooperation between Consult-SK GmbH and fiskaly has resulted in an add-on that provides the TSE as a central entry point for POS data management.
In recent months, there has been constant talk in the retail sector about "receipt duty", but the guidelines behind this hotly debated topic bring with them many more information technology hurdles. It is not just a question of issuing cash register receipts, but also of storing receipt data in an audit-proof manner. A technical security device (TSE) is intended to make it more difficult to manipulate this transaction data, and in the event of an audit, the data standard associated with the TSE is intended to ensure greater transparency.

Where can I get a TSE? Is it compatible with existing systems? How do I manage the POS data and how do I grant Z1, Z2 or Z3 access? To answer these questions using a single, comprehensive solution, Consult-SK GmbH and fiskaly have partnered to combine their software solutions. Receipt4S® is an SAP AddOn that allows to archive, manage and prepare cash register data in an audit-proof manner. These functions are complemented by the advantages of the fiskaly Cloud TSE: Once centrally integrated, all cash registers can be upgraded in compliance with the law via a simple software update - without the high costs of a hardware solution.
The fiskaly Cloud TSE is an innovative and future-oriented solution, with which it is also possible to react quickly to possible (legal) changes. "The resulting all-in-one solution allows us to relieve our customers of some of their worries regarding the implementation of the KassenSichV and at the same time we are well positioned for future changes," says Stephan Kaup, Managing Director of Consult-SK GmbH, summarizing the added value of the partnership.
Receipt4S® and the fiskaly Cloud TSE offer the advantage of being able to manage POS data in a user-friendly way via a dashboard or SAP monitor. In the event of an audit by the tax office, retailers have all relevant data at their fingertips in the shortest possible time. In addition, fiskaly offers the possibility to integrate further service providers, such as Receipt4S®and thus offer customized additional functions for their customers.
