We have already End of 2023 and 2024 that we support the Mindener Tafel e.V. with donations. As a company based in Minden, we don't want to be a one-off, but rather offer ongoing help to fellow citizens in need, the association and its energetic employees.
And what does an IT company have by definition? Technical equipment! That's why Amir, our consultant for projects & support, updated a few of our laptops and handed them over to Daniela Heinemann on February 25, 2025, who was kind enough to pose for a photo with us. Why laptops? Isn't it about food?
In the office, the Mindener Tafel carries out numerous organizational and administrative tasks that are essential for the smooth running of the aid services. These include coordinating donations of goods, planning the deployment of volunteers, managing customer data and communicating with suppliers and supporters. Accounting, the preparation of funding applications and the planning of special campaigns (e.g. Christmas or school supplies) are also important tasks. To ensure that these activities can be carried out efficiently and securely, it makes sense to support the charity with laptops.
In addition to laptops, support is of course also provided in other ways, but with this blog post we want to draw attention to the following point: support can take many different forms. And perhaps one or two of you can think of something right now? There are a number of practical things that help the Tafel in its daily work.
